La gestion des ressources naturelles fait l'objet de nombreux enjeux. Leur exploitation peut être à l'origine de nombreux dommages environnementaux, avec des coûts économiques importants. La rareté des ressources naturelles ou la faiblesse des institutions encadrant leur exploitation peut être source de conflits. Les politiques énergétiques et environnementales peuvent modifier l'évolution des inégalités et/ou de la pauvreté. Enfin, la récente financiarisation des marchés des ressources accroît la volatilité des prix et impacte le fonctionnement des marchés mondiaux de l'énergie.
Les 5es Journées Thématiques de la French Association of Environmental and Ressource Economists (FAERE) visent à réunir des contributions originales tant empiriques que théoriques sur les thèmes suivants :
• Changement climatique et ressources naturelles,
• Conflits, terrorisme et ressources naturelles,
• Pauvreté, inégalités et ressources naturelles,
• Financiarisation des marchés des ressources naturelles et volatilité des prix.
